Recipe for an amazing book! “Learning To Stand!” Book Review and Giveaway!

What book is this you ask? LEARNING TO STAND!

Learning to Stand written by Claudia Hall Christian has the recipe for true success. I read this book thinking I would take my time and read it here or there. What I found out three hours after opening the book, that I could not  put it down. This is the second book in “The Fey” series (I highly suggest you read the Fey also). You can read it at www.alexthefey.com. The story leaves off where the first book in the series ended. The main character “Alex (Alexandra) Hargreaves, faced a major trial in her life. She came face to face with losing everyone and everything in her life. She almost lost her own life but escaped death. Now left to pick up the pieces and try to mend together what was left she finds herself looking for answers, dealing with the trauma of the past and still being alive when others she worked with and loved were gone.

Alex puts forth a good effort in being strong but she realizes that strength is a moment by moment process. There are so many surprises, and twists and turns in this story that you will be taken on an emotional roller coaster ride, so buckle up. I don’t want to give away too much but, Just as Alex is about to give up, She sets aside what she is going through to ensure that someone else has a chance to stand and survive and in that Alex finds the strength to go forward.

The title is exactly what you get in this book. A SHERO who is learning to stand regardless of the situation.
